Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
KiberLive (kiberlive.com) shows esports scores, schedules and streams. You can use it without an account. This page explains what we store when you create one and why.
What we collect
- Your email address, and a hash of your password if you set one (we never store the password itself).
- If you sign in with Google: your Google account id and email (we do not receive your contacts, files or other data).
- What you follow (teams, events, matches) and your reminder settings.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a cookie with your light/dark theme choice.
- Technical logs (IP address, time, page) kept for a short time to run and protect the service.
Why
- To let you sign in, follow teams and events, and send the match reminders you asked for.
- To give you a personal calendar feed of followed matches.
We do not sell your data, do not show personalised ads and do not use advertising trackers.
Who processes it
- Hosting: DigitalOcean (servers in Frankfurt, EU).
- Email delivery: our email provider, only to send the messages you asked for.
- Google, only if you choose "Sign in with Google".
How long
We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete the account at any time in "My account" — your email, follows and settings are deleted at once; database backups roll over within 14 days.
Your rights
You can see and change your data in "My account", turn reminders off with one click in any email, or ask us about your data at privacy@kiberlive.com.
Data from others
Scores, teams and tournament facts come from PandaScore, Liquipedia (CC BY-SA), OpenDota, Valve, Riot Games and Wikimedia; see the image credits page. Streams are embedded from Twitch, YouTube and Kick under their own privacy policies.
